Yan is the Managing Director for the Risk team at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP) focusing on private assets; she works with investment teams across sectors and around the globe with just over 100B of assets under management. Yan started her career in Toronto’s bustling metals and mining industry and has over thirteen years of experience in the Finance and Investments industry.

Yan lives in Toronto with her husband and a houseful of adopted animals, including a dog, an indoor cat, and several outdoor cats. Their yard also welcomes a number of squirrels and the occasional raccoons and possums.
