About Our Region

Planning for CVO Clinics in the Winnipeg region started in 2016, with our first clinic being held at RaY

(Resource Assistance for Youth) in May 2017. Since then, our region has held multiple clinics in 5 venues across the city serving diverse populations in need including houseless and marginally housed youth, families, and seniors. We have held One Health clinics with our human health partners and partnered with existing human health fairs to provide care for the pets. Our clinics have also provided care and resources for a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, rats, rabbits, birds, and snakes. Post-COVID, regional volunteers and community partners are pleased to be resuming regular clinics.
