Chris Hauser is a 2017 Ontario Veterinary College graduate. After practicing small animal medicine for two years, he wanted to seek out other ways he could apply his DVM degree, and that led him to where he is now, currently completing a Master of Business Administration at Wilfrid Laurier University. During this program, he found a passion for everything numbers based, from data analytics, to finance, and accounting. His two co-op placements include Ward and Uptigrove, an accounting firm with a specialization on veterinarians, and Royal Canin where he was able to be a part of multiples teams within the finance and marketing departments. Additionally, through connecting with other colleagues who had both DVM and MBA, he found himself helping to organize and host a virtual global veterinary career summit, where the focus was on empowering veterinarians to advance their career outside of the walls of clinical practice.
