Regional Leadership: Dr. Dayle Borchardt

About Our Region

Inspired by a family member and their pet experiencing homelessness, Dr. Dayle Borchardt wanted to find a way to improve access to human and animal healthcare that many individuals don’t have.

CVO Saskatoon has proudly held events since 2020 to serve the community. Their first One Health clinic was held in August 2022 and continues to expand services and clinic capacity.

An important aspect of CVO Saskatoon’s work has included student involvement and teaching. The core planning team includes veterinary students at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, many of whom return to help at subsequent clinics.

Continuing relationships with community members and finding collaborative and creative ways to improve access to care through a One Health approach will continue to be our goal.
