Regional Leadership: Dr. Dayle Borchardt

About Our Region

The Saskatoon region was established in 2020. Inspired by a family member and their pet experiencing homelessness, Dr. Dayle Borchardt wanted to find a way to improve access to human and animal healthcare that many individuals don’t have.

CVO Saskatoon proudly held events to serve the community in April 2022 and continues to expand services and clinic capacity.

An important aspect of CVO Saskatoon’s work has included student involvement and teaching. The core planning team includes veterinary students at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. We have a strong volunteer base, with many returning to help at subsequent clinics. We look forward to continuing relationships with our community members and to address lack of access to veterinary care through a One Health approach.
