Sara Khazal
Logistics Coordinator
Sara got involved with Community Veterinary Outreach (CVO) as a university student because she was very interested in both human and animal health. Sara has a Bachelor of Commerce and is employed in the Federal Public Service as her day-job. She has always found volunteering and working with CVO to be super rewarding as she gets to meet so many like-minded people and make a difference in the community. Sara’s role at CVO started in the Ottawa Region, but is now both local, in the Ottawa Region, and on a national level as she is involved in logistics management, administrative support, software training, pilot project development, donation data collection, and fundraising. Sara is a HUGE cat and bird lover!! Sara’s first pets that developed her strong love for animals were two budgies that she got with her dad when she was six years old. She currently owns two cats, Lyla and Oreo.
