CVO USA provides One Health Clinics to people in our communities who are experiencing homelessness. We offer free veterinary care in coordination with human health education provided by various health care providers and educators in the communities that we serve. CVO USA accepts its clients and patients on a referral basis from various community stakeholders such as domestic violence shelters, shelters for those experiencing homelessness, and hospitals devoted to serving our low-income communities. We take great care to ensure that the people we are reaching with our services are either experiencing homelessness or are in transitional housing. We plan on beginning our One Health Clinics in the Spring of 2019.

Cross-Canada Community Challenge

Event runs October 1-31, 2023

Our goal is to collectively walk, run, cycle, or travel 8,889 km (this distance between all our CVO locations coast-to-coast), raising $100,000 together. Will you help us?

Choose a number of kilometres to travel as a team, family, or individual, and collect pledges to help us raise money to bring essential care to people and pets experiencing homelessness in Canada.

We’ve also set up a special community where you can cheer each other on, post pics from your activities, get tips from fitness and pet experts about getting active with and without your animals.

Join us to raise money for people who love their pet as much as you do.

Mini-Vet School (TM)

October 21, 2023

Featuring 6 hours of programming from leading veterinary professionals and specialists, you won’t want to miss out.

The lectures will be fun, and will cover a broad range of topics from dog and cat behaviour, to police dogs, to preventing disease to up to date tick information!

*Great to treat yourself to a day of learning, or gift to the pet lover who has everything, or the future vet/vet tech in your life!

This event is a fundraiser for Community Veterinary Outreach. Help us to deliver essential care to people and pets experiencing homelessness in Canada.
