Myra Emery is a Social Worker and the CVO director for the Kingston region. She has been working with Providence Care for 10 years as a social worker, primarily focusing on adult mental health. Her first Master of Social Work placement was with Michelle Lem, the founder of CVO, where she developed a deep appreciation for the organization and the One Health model. She has a profound care for all living beings and the natural world, believing that they are intrinsically connected to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Outside of her work with CVO, she enjoys rock climbing, canoeing, skiing, biking, and any activity that allows her to be outdoors. These activities, along with her cat, keep her healthy and happy.
