About Our Region

The Halifax Region started in the fall of 2022. We have started relationships with organizations serving the homeless and vulnerably housed in the downtown Halifax and Dartmouth areas. We have been providing One Health clinics on approximately  every two months at either the Bridge Shelter or the Overlook Shelter. We have worked alongside Mobile Outreach Street Health nurse practitioners at these clinics. As well through Shelter Nova Scotia we have provided veterinary care to individuals living in tents and pallet shelters. We have also distributed pet food through Shelter Nova Scotia.
