Kyla Townsend graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College and has spent most of her career in shelter medicine and community care. She joined CVO in 2022 as the co-director of the Vancouver chapter and has worked to help connect people and their pets to accessible resources within the city. She currently shares her home with a variety of animals including a dog, several cats and a turtle.
