Angela Smith was born in Toronto and she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in 2001. Dr. Smith’s strong interest in veterinary and community public health led her back to the University of Guelph to complete her Master degree in Public Health in 2013. She currently practices small animal medicine and surgery full time in private practice. Dr. Smith was excited to develop a branch of Community Veterinary Outreach in York Region in 2017. York Region now hosts four One Health clinics per year.
