Catherine Phelps is a senior associate at the Kitchener-Waterloo office of Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP, a leading management-side labour and employment law firm. Catherine maintains a broad practice in all areas of labour and employment law. She provides advice and representation to employers with respect to a variety of issues including terminations, grievances, human rights, occupational health and safety, employment agreements and workplace policies. Catherine is also regularly retained to conduct workplace investigations into allegations of harassment, workplace violence, discrimination, and misconduct.

Catherine attended law school at Western University, where she graduated with distinction and was awarded the Law Society of Upper Canada Prize for academic achievement. In her final year of law school, Catherine spent a semester studying at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. Catherine is an active member of the local community and regularly speaks and writes about labour and employment issues.
