Community Veterinary Outreach is a servant leadership-based organization. Our role is to help support and encourage our volunteers to achieve their individual goals for this experience.
We value and appreciate our volunteers, so want to ensure you get the very most out of your experience with us. Before filling out our volunteer application we encourage you to read the answers to these frequently asked questions.
Who can volunteer with Community Veterinary Outreach?
For our wellness clinics, most volunteers are veterinary health professionals including veterinarians, veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants or students in one of these programs. We also need groomers and dog trainers to help serve pet owners in need in our communities.
We have a few volunteer positions at each clinic for those who do not have animal experience to help with client intake and some reception and administrative work.
We invite social workers and health care workers to join our outreach clinics, as it is an excellent opportunity to engage clients in services.
What age do you have to be to volunteer with Community Veterinary Outreach?
To volunteer with us you must be 18 years of age or older or have parental consent to participate.
